Save Superman’s Marriage!

DC Comics has really ticked me off!

As part of their line-wide relaunch in September, DC Comics Co-Publisher Dan DiDio has said that the marriage is being “re-examined.”

Why?  Fans like the marriage.  The public waited over 50 years for Lois and Clark to get married, now you want to get rid of it?  Because the idea worked so well for Marvel with Spiderman (which it didn’t)?

Please stop doing this DC Comics.  Please do not do this Dan DiDio.

I will most likely stop reading if you do.

If you feel the same way I do, I created a facebook page to voice our disapproval.  It is called Save Supermans Marriage.  Please hit like and leave a comment in support of the Lois and Clark marriage.

  1. I DO think Superman has given Lois the short end of the stick for two years straight. If a separation or divorce is played up as a consequence of that, then I won’t blame them.

Even though I like their marriage, I’m thinking of Lois’s emotional state right after he died.
She’s a very emotionally shielded person. Superman/Clark is her weakness.

So his back to back extended absences MAY not be working for her emotionally.
Between their jobs, the JLA, visiting his parents, and his regular super-heroics, any time they had together was visibly precious.
