Three Random Thoughts On Canada’s 148th Birthday!!!

Canada Flag

Today, July 1st 2015, is the 148th birthday of my beloved homeland Canada! To celebrate this amazing and wonderful occasion, here are my Three Random Thoughts on Canada!!!

Canada FlagWe have an incredibly diverse and fantastic multicultural population. Thanks to our late former Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau, Canada enjoys generations now of different languages and cultures mixing into the loving mosaic. Gotta love it!!

Canada FlagWe made marriage legal for homosexuals and lesbians a decade ago. And the world did not fall apart with the apocalypse. That day made me proud to be Canadian. Now the United States have finally caught up. Good for you, following our lead.

Canada FlagWe created The Beachcombers, Nellie McClung, Degrassi, Wayne and Shuster, Margaret Atwood, John Candy, Jim Carrey, Joni Mitchell, Lorne Greene, Anne Murray, Samantha Bee, Joe Shuster, June Callwood, and William Shatner. Not to shabby a list for a not very big country!

HAPPY CANADA DAY!!!
